CAUTION
Be sure that magnetic RPM sensor cable cannot
interfere with any moving components, as this
installation is used during flight. When routing
cable, make sure that there is enough slack so that
when swashplate moves it will not damage cable.
e. Route magnetic RPM sensor cable down and along main gearbox, through drip pan and into cabin.
f.
Connect magnetic RPM sensor cable to the DAU receptacle marked TACHO 1.

PROCEDURE 3: TRACKER INSTALLATION
a.
Remove forward nose avionics bay access door vent screen.
b.
Route UTD cable (29325701) through vent ducting, leaving one foot of cable outside the aircraft.
c.
Route remaining cable through avionics bay, along left side of cockpit center console, making sure cable is
secure and does not interfere with flight controls, and connect to the DAU receptacle marked TRACKER 1.
d.
Install the UTD mounting bracket (29328100) to avionics bay access door with arrow on bracket body pointing
aft. Secure with screws long enough to pass through the mating fastener.
