TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. GENERAL
Inspect Aviation Vibration Analyzer for missing or damaged components. Check for physical damage such as breaks,
cracks, wear, etc.
2. CLEANING
Use spray cleaner (item 6, WP0066 00) to clean the outside surfaces of the major items. Wipe clean and dry with a
soft rag. Clean lens on the CADU and UTD with lens cleaner.
3. LUBRICATION
There are no lubrication tasks required.
4. EXTREME ENVIRONMENTAL MAINTENANCE
There are no requirements for extreme environmental maintenance for the AVA equipment.
5. CALIBRATION
Calibration of the AVA will be performed by a TMDE Support Team in accordance with guidelines specified in
Calibration and Repair Requirements for the Maintenance of Army Material (TB 43-180).
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible failures to the AVA system as well as diagnostic procedures are provided in the following Inspection/Fault
Isolation procedures.
Corrective actions, as shown in the following procedures, are outlined in WP0033 00 through WP0057 00.
